hyderabad: another krushi bank functionary, penugonda gurumurthy, an assistant manager in charge of loans, was remanded in judicial custody after he was produced before the first additional metropolitan sessions judge on monday. submitting an application seeking police custody, the investigating officer stated that gurumurthy was the brother of one of the directors of the bank and a close confidante of its chairman k venkateshwara rao.he was said to be aware of the affairs of kanaka varsha securities and the krushi misappropriations.
